This equipment is developed to do away with the ghost image / doubling problems in web offset machines. The major advantage of this system is that it keeps the circumferential registration consistent even at variable speed by critically controlling the web tension. The biggest problem observed in web offset machines is that the registration gets disturbed if the machine speed is increased or decreased which results into lot of paper wastage. This system, if incorporated, can save time and paper wastage to a large extent.
